Lavender Blue has found a new home! We're moving into a new studio space in about a month.
This gives us a better & more comfortable consultation area, more space for future classes on floral artistry, and the opportunity to host pop-up shops for local artists!
Check out some "before" pictures of the space below. By the time we move in, we'll have brand new flooring and walls. We're so excited to spruce up the space and make it look beautiful!
The walls and floor of our new studio in Windsor Heights look bare now, but they will get a beautiful new laminate floor and lavender walls! stay tuned for all the exciting things we have planned for our floral studio!
Big, bright front windows are just waiting for decoration and flair, inviting people in for our pop-up events and floristry classes!
Our in-house floral cooler will have a spot to rest, and a large sink will allow us to keep all your flowers fresh and wonderful.
The floor will be replaced with a wood-look grey laminate, which will allow for the mess of our floral classes!
After many days of waiting and fretting over all the re-dos coming together in the studio space, here we go! The "millennial pink" paint has appeared on the freshly patched walls, the extra sink and faucets have been installed in the back room, and the beautiful wood-laminate floor has happened! Now I am busy getting set up for the first class at the studio. This is a true Dream come true for the owner!
Many years have gone into this studio becoming a reality, where LB could serve and teach the community while providing florals and stylings for weddings and events around Iowa! Hours spent sweeping floors, cleaning buckets, and cutting stems for oother people's businesses suddenly seem so worth it. All the hours on the road, traveling out of town to learn more and more about current design trends and mechanics, while getting little sleep and taking time from family and jobs, now seems to have paid off.
Getting my floral cooler was such a dream come true! It allows so much more ability for weddings and events, keeping everything fresh and ready!
